The Clooneys Arrive in Cannes

George and Amal Clooney will be adding an extra dose of glamour at the Cannes Film Festival this year. The power couple arrived for the 69th edition of the iconic festival today.

The couple were photographed as they made their arrival at the luxurious five-star Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, Frances, where they will be staying during their brief stay.

Amal looked effortlessly chic in a white jacket teamed with a short stripe skirt and sunglasses.

George Takes Amal to Visit His Hometown in Kentucky

It's been an incredibly busy time for the Clooneys recently with their busy schedule in New York and the press tour for Tomorrowland. The couple are currently enjoying some down time with George's family in his home town Augusta in Kentucky. A local spotted George and Amal enjoying a low-key stroll and took a photo of the pair.

'George Clooney was in his (and my parents) hometown today. I run down this street every time I visit my grandpa'.

'The Tomorrowland star grew up in the area attending elementary school in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky and Mason, Ohio. After his parents moved to Augusta, Kentucky, George attended Augusta High School and later tried out to play professional baseball with the Cincinnati Reds in 1977.

 He instead ended up attending Northern Kentucky University from 1979 to 1981 and majored in broadcast journalism. George briefly attended the University of Cincinnati but didn't graduate from either college.'

I love Amal's casual style, she looks so effortlessly put together in the simplest of ensembles. For her visit to Kentucky she looked stylish in skinny jeans, a white t shirt, a floral-print scarf, sandals and statement sunglasses.

George was spotted dining with family members at a local restaurant along the Ohio river and surprised a young lady who was celebrating her 25th birthday. "GEORGE CLOONEY sat at the table next to me at dinner," wrote an eyewitness along with a picture of George. "Not only that, but he and his family sang Happy Birthday to me after I ate!"

Nati from Amal Clooney Style quickly noted the dress is an Alberta Ferretti piece. The Camel Suede Fringe Dress is from the designers SS15 Collection of Bohemian treasures. "The dress features hand-woven whipstitch trim, a back keyhole, and a laser cut fringe hem". It retails for $3,125.

The couple are most likely taking the opportunity to spend quality time with George's family before the move to the Berkshire village of Sonning in England at the end of the summer. The actor revealed he and Amal are "very excited" about the move.

George recently revealed in an interview during his press tour for Tomorrowland his wife's style is very much all her own:

“From the day I met her, she has the incredibly eclectic, sort of wild style,” he said. “She just has her own style, she doesn’t have a stylist or anything, she just picks clothes. She shows up, and I’m like, that’s unbelievable, she’ll tell me she’s gonna wear some dress, then I see it and I’m like, wow, that’s stunning.”

However, for her last two glamorous outings she's sought the assistance of stylist Alexis Roche, who has worked with a variety of celebrities including Marion Cotillard and Kendall Jenner, has been behind two Maison Margiela dresses designed by his partner John Galliano.

The two looks have proved so popular Vogue published a piece discussing how Amal and Maison Margiela are bringing back glamour:

'While some took the weekend to see box office smash Mad Max: Fury Road, Amal Clooney joined her husband George in Tokyo for the premiere of his latest film, Tomorrowland. In many ways the human rights attorney caused a bigger stir on the red carpet than her beau in a custom Maison Margiela dress by John Galliano.'

Since Amal was catapulted into the public eye, her individual and unique sense of style caught the eye of fashion critics and followers and we've seen her stay true to that. There's no doubt, in our view, that Amal is still sartorially making her own choices. Aside from those two Maison Margiela looks, it is understood she hasn't worked with a stylist.

George and Amal Clooney know how to enjoy a date night in style! Accompanied by one of George's closest friends Randy Gerber and his wife supermodel Cindy Crawford, the group danced the night away at a U2 concert in Los Angeles.

The concert was held at The Forum Club in Inglewood, Los Angeles and attracted a wide number of fans. Song on the set list included hits such as With or Without You, Beautiful Day, Vertigo, City of Blinding Lights and Where The Streets Have No Name.

As the band performed their final track of the night I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, George and Amal rose to their fight and danced. TMZ shared a fantastic video which is full of very romantic moments between the couple. I think you'll thoroughly enjoy it :)
